MEP engineering services for new $99 million, 350,000-ft2, 13-story (including Basement and Penthouse) courthouse for the Louisiana Nineteenth Judicial District Building Commission. The fully-secure facility provides separate and secure circulation for the judges, public and prisoners, and includes courtrooms, judges’ chambers, jury suites, administration and clerk of court spaces, with an extensive plumbing precinct featuring approximately 170 toilet rooms (including bathing/shower facilities for judges and guards), and a 1,000 KVA generator to provide Life Safety systems for the high-rise facility.
